At the age of eighteen,
Carlo’s desire to enrich his talent and knowledge of his craft
inspires him to move to Rome, where he spent five years studying
with drum masters such as Ettore Mancini, Claudio Mastracci,
Giampaolo Ascolese, Massimo Moriconi (basso-batteria), Derek Wilson,
Maurizio Dei Lazzaretti, Lele Melotti ed Alfredo Golino.
Additionally, during his
time in Rome, Carlo attended seminars lectured by prominent drummers
such as Vinnie Colaiuta, Dave Weckl, Steve Smith, Gregg Bissonette, Virgil
Donati, Ian
Paice, Mike
Mangini, Gavin Herrison, Berklee In Umbria
’94 e Daniel Gottlieb; poi gli affezionati Maurizio Dei Lazzaretti,
Lele Melotti e Alfredo Golino; per finire, Agostino Marangolo, Ellade
Bandini e Massimo Moriconi.
As a professional Carlo
has performed and recorded in live and studio sessions with more
than fifty bands, musicians, and singers, he has been featured in
more than one thousand concerts throughout Italy. These concerts
have been held in renowned theaters and clubs such as “Palladium”
Rome, “Piper” Rome, “Barfly” Ancona, “Classico” Rome, “Gilda” Rome,
"Gimmi's Club" Milan, "Le Cave" Isernia, "Megà"
and the Auditorium "De Cecco" Pescara, etc. and have
included prominent musicians such as
Matt
Bissonette, Hiram
Bullock, Massimo Moriconi,
Paolo Costa,
Dino Fiorenza,
Maurizio
Rolli, Giuliano De Leonardis
e Mauro Voconi.
Carlo played in the last
projects of Kelly Joyce, Anemamè,
Gianni De Chellis
Project, Antonio De Angelis
Quartet, Coro delle 9, Viola
Valentino e Mauro
Voconi, who played with
Zucchero's
guest guitar,
Mario
Schilirò, and
Otmaro
Ruiz.

cymbals and “Ideas For Drummers” sticks (created in a special series.
Carlo is an accomplished
drummer and his performances reveal his dedication to his craft. He
has the ability to adapt to any style of music and demonstrates the
rare gift to articulate the nuances of any given song.
